Atlantic Bar North Pattaya for last 18 years has been one of my regular watering holes. Here are many of the interesting people & staff who have enjoyed it with me. The photo above is 2003 with the lovely Aew.
This is not a travel blog just a personal photo collection of 18 years at the Atlantic bar.

On the left is my friend Nok in November 2003, we finally got together in January 2011.

Funnily enough Nok left the bar had a little baby and in early 2016 was back there working again.

The bar has been extended, it is now 50% larger.

All that money around her neck means she is having a birthday.

Her name is Dah, a silly mate of ours Pothole, aka John Martin bought her a new nose & boobs & fathered 2 children with her, now in 2022 they are 14 and 12 years old. Naturally the liaison failed after several years of mayhem & war, and now he pays a fortune to educate and look after them. Is it any wonder we call him Pothole?
John Sinclair aka Secrets & Joergen Ulitzer
December 2005 and the boys are having fun, now in 2015 John is living happily in Bangkok while Joerg languishes in a Hong Kong prison on a drug smuggling charge. November 2015 and charges against Joerg have been dropped.

Ian Pinniger, Ooy, John Sinclair and Cate, sadly Ian passed away in March 2009 after losing a long fight against cancer.

Sean Fenton hails from Townsville and married this lovely lady who now lives like a queen with Sean a a tribe of children.

My good friends from the Gold Coast Nick and Sharon in April 2008. I had four trips to Thailand in 2008.
May 2010 a gathering of golfers
This bunch of guys used to regularly drink at the Atlantic bar every Friday night. The could tell you (and did) in detail about every shot they hit that day. I spent a fascinating week in Yangon with them in 2013, they played golf every day, I played once & explored the city every day.

For eight years from 2004 the Sabai Resort was my hotel of choice, even now I book most of my friends in as it is such great value, especially if you book through this Agoda link.
Bill Austin, Don Wenham & Porn in January 2011
Bill from Wiltshire has visited Pattaya 3 times however Don from Australia was not too impressed. Sadly Don passed away in 2016 after a long battle with cancer, RIP old buddy.
