Harbor new Pattaya Shopping Mall

April 12, 2016 by David Herd

New shopping mall

Harbor new Pattaya Shopping Mall

Harbor new Pattaya Shopping Mall

Harbor new Pattaya Shopping Mall next to Foodland in Pattaya Klang. A huge complex with lots of shops & restaurants plus a modern supermarket. The photo above was taken in October 2015 while it was still under construction.

April 12 2016

Harbor new Pattaya Shopping Mall

The centre is 90% completed, bigger than Big C and lots of screaming kids. Many good Japanese restaurants and all the usual coffee shops.

Kids having fun

Harbor new Pattaya Shopping Mall

Being school holidays there were kids everywhere.

Coffee Club

Harbor new Pattaya Shopping Mall

Their latte is hard to beat as is their eggs Benedict. 🙂 Au Bon Pain and Coffee world are here also.

Big modern supermarket

Harbor new Pattaya Shopping Mall

I was impressed how big the centre was plus the supermarket was excellent. Lots of car parking at the rear of the building.

Postal service

Harbor new Pattaya Shopping Mall

Many different shops as you would expect.

Tokyo Teppanyaki

Harbor new Pattaya Shopping Mall

I was surprised at the number of Japanese restaurants here.

Another Japanese restaurant.

Harbor new Pattaya Shopping Mall

I’m guessing there must be a lot of Japanese people living in the area because of the number of Japanese restaurants here. Just down the road 200 meters is Big C Extra, here you will be able to buy the best imported beef & lamb from Australia and New Zealand.

Tuna Ichiban

Harbor new Pattaya Shopping Mall

My friend Geoff Robinson made this comment after visiting Tuna Ichiban, “Another great recommendation David Herd best sushi I’ve had in Thailand”.

Harbor new Pattaya Shopping Mall

Apart from this monster there is a huge kids playground on the top floor, make sure you take your earplugs. There is also two floors of phones and computers similar to Tukcom.

Harbor new Pattaya mall seems to have it all

Jomtien Beach Pattaya south

April 9, 2016 by David Herd

Fishing boats on Jomtiem beach

Jomtien Beach Pattaya south

Jomtien Beach Pattaya south

Jomtien Beach Pattaya south in my mind used to be Pattaya’s poor cousin, well times have changed. There are many people who prefer to live in this quieter area on the Thai coast rather than busy gridlocked Pattaya beach. The beach stretches for miles & miles and the water is much cleaner than Pattaya bay.

Relax in the shade

Jomtien Beach Pattaya south

Sabai sabai means relax in Thai, one of about 10 words I know the meaning of. I have only been living in Thailand five years so that equates to 2 words a year, hmm I guess I’m a little slow. 🙂

Building boom

Jomtien Beach Pattaya south

The first couple of photos may have given the impression of a sleepy backwater, well nothing could be further from the truth, High rise condos and hotels are exploding on the skyline. This monster has the unfortunate name of Cetus which always reminds me of part of the female anatomy.

 Jomtiensaineung Road

Jomtien Beach Pattaya south

Chom Tian is the name you will often see on road signs, located 165 km south-east of Bangkok and a few minutes south of Pattaya.

Magic sunset at Jomtien

Jomtien Beach Pattaya south

A great time of the day to swim or just enjoy a cocktail by the beach.

Lots of restaurants

Jomtien Beach Pattaya south

The beach is about 6 kms long and there are many restaurants opposite where you can enjoy the sunset and the sea breeze.

Indian, Italian, French and many others.

Jomtien Beach Pattaya south

So many restaurants and so little time.

Natan’s is my favourite

Jomtien Beach Pattaya south

Put Naten’s on your bucket list, it is in my top 6 restaurants in Pattaya and Jomtien. The food and décor is exceptional and rather inexpensive

Drifters Beach Cafe

Jomtien Beach Pattaya south

A little further south overlooking the beach is a nice little cafe bar where you can enjoy a cocktail or a pizza while watching the beautiful sunset.

Location

Jomtien Beach Pattaya south

You really need a car to get to Drifters cafe.

Thailand’s ugly overhead power lines

A common sight in Thailand, the next photo highlights the highly trained workmen.

Master electrician at work

Workplace health & safety is not a high priority in Thailand, however there is a guy holding the ladder  ?

Miles of sandy beach

No problem finding a place to sit at Jomtien. 🙂

Markland Condo

Pattaya life 2016

Pattaya life 2016

Pattaya life 2016, this is my 5 year in this city by the beach. Why is it the older you get the faster time seems to go? The photo above is the coffee shop at the front of my condo where I go for a daily caffeine hit and sometimes a blueberry cheesecake to go with it. I have decided to slow down on my travel this year due to over spending in 2015. I have some smaller trips planned and another Japan visit in October.

In fact I purchased a two week ticket on the Shinkansen or bullet train, then after 3 nights in Tokyo I travelled to 6 interesting Japanese cities, includung Kanazawa, Hiroshima, Kumamoto, Kagoshima, Nagasaki & Fukuoka

This is not a travel blog just a personal photo collection from the 1st half of 2016. Part 2 will commence July 1st.

Larry Krausz and Hamish Elton

Pattaya life 2016

I invited two of my friends over for dinner, roasted Australian lamb shanks with baked vegetables. Washed down with Australian red wine which I buy here for B300 ($12) for a 2 litre bottle.

Larry Krausz, a friend for around 30 years suffered a major stroke on October 28 2017. After 2 months in the Bangkok Pattaya hospital on life support he was transported to Australia by a hospital Leer jet, thanks to his Medibank travel insurance. After a further month his life support was removed & he passed away peacefully.

 Pattaya life 2016

Pattaya life 2016

This part of Pattaya always remains the same, an endless choice of girlie bars providing anything an ageing playboy could ever ask for.

The neon lights of Walking Street

Pattaya life 2016

Still the main Pattaya tourist attraction, however I would only visit 2 or 3 times a year, mainly when friends come from overseas.

Here are two Walking St addicts

Pattaya life 2016

Don’t take it the wrong way, Gordon Shanks from New York and Jonathan Whiting from Brisbane are only addicted to the bright lights, gorgeous girls and exotic locations all over the world.

Australian visitors

David Robertson on the right has been a friend for over 30 years, originally from Melbourne he moved to the Gold Coast about 40 years ago. His son Chris on the left is an Emirates pilot who lives in Dubai.

Mum Aroi at Naklua

Pattaya life 2016

A very popular Naklua restaurant specialising in live seafood. Very busy on weekends so try to visit during the week.

Because of the turnover  and the live product you can guarantee everything is fresh here.

Valentines day in Pattaya

Pattaya life 2016

The local council always find a reason to decorate the footpath on Beach Road.

I’m not sure these beach babes do much to decorate the area.

I actually have a photo blog dedicated to Babushkas in bikinis, just follow this link.

 At Mae Pim

Pattaya life 2016

Beach Resort Mae Pim on the gulf of Thailand is only ninety minutes by car east of Pattaya, and 2 hours south of Bangkok. Beautiful white sand and clean water, and so quiet and peaceful after the noise & Madness of Pattaya.

Looks like a bomb site

Pattaya life 2016

A huge new shopping mall and hotel is being built opposite the Dolphin roundabout in North Pattaya. It will be the same brand as Terminal 21 at Asoke in Bangkok.

Hooters comes to Pattaya

Pattaya life 2016

Hooters Pattaya opening night was on New Years Eve 2015 so we decided to make it our first stop when seeing off the old and welcoming the new year.  It’s a great addition to Beach Road and naturally has many beautiful sexy babes on the staff. Both Thai & Russian as you can clearly see.

Hooters always seem to be promoting charity events etc to publicise their great venue, check out the charity bike wash here.

Bow and her Bonds

Pattaya life 2016

The gorgeous girlfriend of my friend Matt Harkness, an Adelaide guy who is living the dream in Pattaya. A local website held a contest to find “Miss Love Pattaya Thailand”, heats were held at “Planet Earth Beach Club” in Jomtien. Check out my photo blogs for lots of great Thai and Russian babes competing for the B100,000 first prize.

Fraser’s at Jomtien

Pattaya life 2016

Quite a good sports bar on the left as you go down the hill into Jomtien, very good hamburgers.

Talking about Jomtien

Pattaya life 2016

In recent years it has improved out of sight, no longer is it a lazy beach side suburb of Pattaya. There are many new restaurants and hotels generally cheaper and quieter than Pattaya.

Natan’s at Jomtien

Pattaya life 2016

Put Naten’s on your bucket list, it is in my top 6 restaurants in Pattaya and Jomtien.

Long Table Bangkok

Pattaya life 2016

I went to Bangkok 3 times in this first six months not just for a break from Pattaya but to check out lots of great places I have never been to. I was there in January, February and May.

When I’m in Bangkok I like to stay in Sukhumvit Soi 11, here is an excellent budget hotel, if you USE THIS LINK you will get a great rate of around B1100 per night, or $30 USD.

Pattaya Classic Car show

Rotary Club charity Pattaya Classic Car show

Pattaya Classic Car show

Pattaya Classic Car show

Pattaya Classic Car show was sponsored by the Rotary Club on Sunday February 2016. All these beautiful classic and vintage cars assembled at the Holiday Inn before parading down Beach Road Pattaya.

A Model Ford

Pattaya Classic Car show

This fabulous classic car takes me back to my teenage years, I remember around 1960 a friend purchased on of these for 40 Australian pounds. We drove from Sydney to the Central coast for a wild weekend along the treacherous Pacific Highway. In those days it was a hilly strip of bitumen winding through the mountains. Three things stick in my mind from that trip, one the Ford had no petrol pump, the fuel was simply a gravity feed from the tank, look closely at the photo and you will see the fuel cap near the windscreen. Secondly you could manually retard or advance the spark from a control on the steering wheel to help you over the mountains. Finally this old jigger had a gap in the floorboard and wee could see the manifold glowing red hot throughout the journey.

Austin

Pattaya Classic Car show

Forgive if I make any mistakes with these classic models. I’ll run the photo blog past my friend Jock in Sydney and draw on his great knowledge.

Fiat 500

Pattaya Classic Car show

This little jigger has got to be one of the most popular European cars ever.

A car that needs no introduction

Pattaya Classic Car show

The E-Type Jaguar has to be one of the most magnificent cars ever built. I was lucky enough to own a 1971 series 2 which I purchased in Adelaide in 1973. It then spent 2 years in Melbourne with me before coming to Sydney in 1976. Natalie Dunford my friend in Adelaide said to me before I left that city, “if you ever sell it David please give me first option”. Well I did phone Natalie in 1978 and she said “just send it over please”. Now here is the interesting part, I re-connected with Natalie on Facebook around 2012 and she still owns that beautiful car today.

Pattaya Classic Car show present the E-Type jaguar V 12

Pattaya Classic Car show

I must say I was never a fan of the V12 I think they spoiled the classic shape in the coupe and made it look too bulbous. The convertible was fine, I wish I still owned mine. 🙂

In March 2008, the Jaguar E-Type ranked first in a The Daily Telegraph online list of the world’s “100 most beautiful cars” of all time

Jaguar XK120

Pattaya Classic Car show

Manufactured between 1948 and 1954, the XK120 was a beautiful looking machine. I guess it is obvious I am a jaguar man, in fact I owned an XJ6 the same colour as the one above in 1979.

1963 Morgan +4

Pattaya Classic Car show

Another great looking English classic sports car. Henry Frederick Stanley Morgan  bought his first car in 1902 at the age of 21. In 1904 he co-founded a motor sales and servicing garage in Malvern Link. Then in 1909 he designed and built a car for his personal use. Production began a year later and success followed soon after. he ran the company until he died in 1959 at aged 77 .

 BMW 503 coupe

 Pattaya Classic Car show

Manufactured from 1956 t0 1959, certainly a German classic.

MG TC

Pattaya Classic Car show

The MG T series were produced between 1936 and 1955 before being replaced by the MGA.

MGA at Pattaya Classic Car show

Pattaya Classic Car show

Production was from 1955 to 1962 before being replaced by the MGB. The MGA represented a complete styling break from MG’s earlier sports cars.  A total of 101,081 units were sold by 1962, the vast majority  were exported. Only 5869 cars were sold in the U.K. the lowest percentage of any British car.

The MGB was the first new car I ever owned, purchased for around $3000 aud in Melbourne in 1970.

 Pattaya Classic Car Show

Pattaya Classic Car show

The Rotary club called it a charity spring party. Whatever the name would be everybody loves looking at old cars. My friend Jock Granger who is a collector in Sydney expressed surprise these classic cars could be found in Thailand.

No idea what this is.

Pattaya Classic Car show

I do know however it’s a great looking car.

T Model Ford perhaps?

Pattaya Classic Car show

I have no idea but it sure looks like one. 🙂

Another good looking mystery vehicle

I hate to say it but in a contest in Pattaya between Russian and Thai babes it was a foregone conclusion a Thai girl would win. Check out my photo blog here. When it came to dancing however the Russians were far superior.

Here is the proof

Sydney 2011 farewell Australia

March 4, 2016 by David Herd

This is not a travel blog just my personal photo collection

Sydney 2011 farewell Australia

Sydney 2011 farewell Australia

Sydney 2011 farewell Australia is about my life changing event when on October 18 I left my home, friends, relatives and country to live in Thailand. I had two trips to Sydney in September & October and stayed with my cousin Debbie at her home in Balgowlah before jumping on a plane to Bangkok on October 18.

Dinner at Manly

Sydney 2011 farewell Australia

I had many friends to farewell including Paul Slaughter and his lady Clode who was a flight attendant for Air Canada.

Richard aka 003 1/4

Sydney 2011 farewell Australia

Richard & I have been friends since 1976 and had many great times together over the years. Obsessed with luxury cars and women on a scale far higher than I.

Richard’s latest jigger

Sydney 2011 farewell Australia

From memory he also had a beautiful restored red E-Type jag at his Gold Coast home and a 911 turbo Porsche at his Sydney apartment. The Porsche he has owned since new in about 1977, it was fitted with some unusual modifications similar to some sort of secret agent. 🙂

Old friend Peter Hesky

Another friend from 1976, (WOW! 40 bloody years) Sadly I don’t hear from Peter anymore, from what I’m told he has turned into quite a recluse and rarely ventures out of his home in Castle Cove.

Some well built lads here

Talking about the Oaks, here it is.

Dinner with friends

Sydney 2011 farewell Australia

Fortuna Court Chinese restaurant in Crows Nest has been a favourite restaurant for over 30 years, & I must say it has not changed one bit in that time. The guy I’m about to put to the sword is Warwick Robinson who I have known for over 30 years. He never did pay the ransom to me for not taking his life. 🙂

Sydney 2011 farewell Australia

Sydney 2011 farewell Australia

Leaving Australia was a huge decision, two major factors came into play when making the decision. First was purely financial, I had not worked since 1997 instead I travelled the world like a man possessed. Consequently I spent a huge amount of money in the process and I always knew it had to come to an end. My only regret was the timing of the Global Financial Crisis in 2007/8 which coincided with me needing to sell my home to pay off the huge mortgage created by my travels. My home took me 3 years to sell, had I have sold in 2006 I would have realized around $250K more than I finally got in 2011. Oh well them’s the breaks and I have no regrets because those years of travel were wonderful and irreplaceable.

The second reason for my decision to move to Thailand was triggered by the first. I found myself in a position where I could no longer live at the same level in Australia that I was accustomed to. However I could live to that level in Thailand which was only around 1/3 the cost of living in Australia.

It is now 2017 my 6th year living in Thailand and the move has turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life. I plan to stay another 5 years before moving back to Australia to live out my final days. At the moment that’s the plan but plans can change. 🙂

Here is my view in Pattaya

Sydney 2011 farewell Australia

There are many people around the world who regularly criticize Pattaya, my message to them is simple, stay where you are because we don’t want you here.  Our stress free Pattaya life has no time to waste on the knockers and whiners, having said that thanks for visiting my Sydney 2011 farewell Australia photo blog.

I’ll leave it to the late great Glenn Frey to explain how I feel right now.

Babes Blogs Love Pattaya Thailand, a popular Pattaya web site that asked me to write some blogs for them. Sadly I don’t get paid for doing it however I thought it would be a good way to promote my fivestarvagabond blog site. Plus they invite me to all their promotions where the food and booze flow non stop. 🙂

Virgins in Walking Street Pattaya

Babes Blogs Love Pattaya

A new club recently opened featuring eastern European ladies. It’s rather upmarket so take plenty of money with you. There is also an interesting roof top bar and a jacuzzi where for B6,500 you can spend 30 minutes with the girl of your choice including a bottle of champagne.

Hooters bike wash

Unlike many other people I’m a Hooters fan, the Pattaya venue is terrific and there are lots of gorgeous babes. I believe these girls get paid very good money compared to similar jobs in restaurants and hotels, plus they get to keep their tips, however they really worked hard on this particular charity day. When they were not serving drinks and food they were dancing as you can see above. I’m sure by the end of the evening the poor girls would have been totally worn out.

Sexy Girls Dancing At Pool Party

All I can say is WOW! What an incredible body and trust me folks this blonde Russian babe knew how to move it. She was one of several who work at Galaxy Cabaret in Walking St. I am told the drinks start around B400 which is way above my pay grade.

No boats in Pattaya

Babes Blogs Love Pattaya

A very windy day saw the boats were idle and tourists had to find something else to do. January 25th 2016 they disappeared for three days apparently because a storm surge was causing rough water and unsafe conditions. Full marks to the officials for giving tourist safety priority over big business.

Five Star hotels in Pattaya overlooking Pattaya beach are The Amari, The Holiday InnThe Hilton & the Dusit. Amari has the nicest grounds & pool area + the magnificent Mantra restaurant, the Hilton is above an upmarket shopping mall & is the most central, Holiday Inn has the best pizzas, the Dusit in North Pattaya has the best Dim Sum. ;-)

Without a doubt AGODA is the best online Hotel booking site.

Please remember what you have probably already read in the press, hiring a jet ski is flirting with danger, 80% of the operators are running scams, when you return the ski they will claim you have damaged it and try to extort huge sums of money from you. Sadly many police are part of these scams as well, they will pretend they are on your side and negotiate the asking price down from say 60,000 Baht ($2,000) to 20,000 Baht, in Thailand unfortunately they have turned corruption into an art form. However it is no worse than Indonesia, India or Brazil, so just be careful.

Bangkok Post September 9th 2015

At the emergency meeting in August 2015, Pol. Maj. Piyapong was reported in local media saying that his office received numerous complaints from scam victims that first went to the Pattaya police station only to be ignored. The same press reports also showed that, as far back as 2011, Pattaya mayor Itthiphol Kunpleum said Pattaya’s police were part of the jet ski problem, with corrupt

officers assisting scammers…

Pattaya is a city in Thailand, a beach resort popular with tourists and expatriates. It is located on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand, about 100 kilometres (62 mi) southeast of Bangkok. Bookmark Webcam Beach Road Pattaya Thailand so you can check out the weather anytime you wish.

Webcam Beach Road Pattaya

Pattaya webcam only shows you a small part of this great holiday location.  Pattaya is a city of extremes, anything your heart desires is available here, from fabulous five star hotels & restaurants to down & dirty backstreet beer bars offering sex drugs & rock & roll. OK, so we admit there is sex in the city but there is so much more to this wonderful seaside resort, four million tourists each year can’t be wrong. Only 90 minutes south of Bangkok airport and thousands of miles from stress.

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

January 15, 2016 by David Herd

Part of my personal online photo albums, as opposed to my FiveStarVagabond travel blog. The story starts in 1986.

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast took place in January 1987, but lets go back a couple of months to when I was living at Newport Beach in Sydney. I had just broken up with my fiancée, beautiful Karen Smith, we were engaged and living together in a wonderful old home in Newport overlooking the Royal Motor Yacht Club. To add to my woes I had also just been sacked from a high paying job as National Sales Manager for Ricoh facsimile machines.

For the past few years I was a regular visitor to the Gold Coast so at the time moving there permanently seemed to be the right thing to do. I had many friends living in Surfers Paradise including Graham Edwards aka “Crazy” who you see in the photo above. The gorgeous girls in the photo are Sandy Palmer & Joanne Bernhardt.

My ex fiancée Karen Smith

 Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

Karen was a beautiful lady and a lovely human being, but looking back I finally realised by the mid 90s I was not cut out for “long term relationships”, and the older I get the less I need the company of others.

Paul Slaughter and Tony Murphy

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

Two close friends in December 1986 were helping me celebrate the move north. Tony was living in Avalon at the time and now in 2021 resides on the Gold Coast.

Not part of my travel blog just a huge chapter in my life.

Bryan Millard

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

Bryan lived close to me at Newport and we were regular drinkers at the Newport Arms Hotel.

Now here is a strange coincidence, one week after I posted Brian’s photo here he was convicted in Noosa for various infringements. Here is the full story.

Big Tim Bristow & Sue Ellis

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

Another neighbour the notorious Big Tim Bristow, read more about him here.

Now when I visit Sydney I book my hotel through this link for great room rates.

Ok, bye bye Sydney, Gold Coast here I come.

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

I had to return my company car so my transport consisted of my little red Moke. Do you like my impersonation of the “White Knight” at the Watson’s Bay Hotel?

Di Parkinson & Madison

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

Di Parkinson was my beautiful ex girlfriend from the 70s, Madison was my beautiful German Shepherd. For the first 3 months I rented a house at Carrara from my good friend Peter Lewis before buying a house at Sorrento.

Jim Cox & Larry Wilson

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

Jim was a friend of mine in Adelaide when I lived there in the 70s, Larry was a solicitor in Southport and was responsible for me taking up golf, I have never totally forgiven him. 🙂

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast to my Sorrento home

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

I bought a house at 36 Claymore Crescent and it soon became party central.

Naturally I bought a boat

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

A very pretty little runabout with a 150 HP Suzuki on the back.

Allison and Winnie

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

The girls came with me to Byron Bay to pick up my new toy. I had been taking Winnie out occasionally until she introduced me to her 18 year old girlfriend Allison, well I’m guessing you know what happened next. 🙂

Then I had to build a jetty.

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

Here we are christening the jetty even before it is finished, apologies for the poor photo quality.

The finished product

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

What a beauty it was, big enough to have a party on, and we did very often indeed.

Afternoon drinks on the Jetty

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

My new girlfriend on the left was Tanya Rigley, oh my didn’t she cause me some stress. On the far right is George Hoult aka the “Angry Ant”, I bumped into him outside my condo in Pattaya in December 2015. Sitting next to him is Malcolm Pearce, Mick Cottrell is standing and the little guy in the middle is my old mate Harley Bradstreet.

Jetty! What jetty, I don’t see a jetty.

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

It does often rain a little on the Gold Coast, and the canal my house was on was a long way from the main river. Consequently it would take quite a while for the water  to subside after a heavy storm.

Fancy dress party

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

My great mate Bob Martin threw a party at his home near Carrara, I forget the theme, something to do with camels or Lawrence of Arabia I think. On the right is Don Wenham who sadly passed away in 2016 after a long battle with cancer.

Harley is locked & loaded

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

This great mate of mine loved to dress up in his combat gear, it didn’t have to be a fancy dress party, he sometimes strolled into a Surfers Paradise bar dressed like this.

Here is Marco

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

A Croatian friend from Sydney who had more moves than a Swiss watch, Marco always had some sort of scheme on the go, designed of course to relieve somebody of their precious savings.

Such a beautiful girl

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

This was one of my many parties at Claymore Crescent, sadly a few months after this photo was taken this gorgeous lost her life in a traffic accident, RIP.

 Cold beers on the Broadwater

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

Mike Hughes was an English guy who eventually moved to Sydney. Boating was a big part of my life in my early days on the Gold Coast.

A couple of hot European ladies

Adelaide 1988

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

Jim Stanbury & Suzie in Adelaide, I was there for the Formula one in 1988, Jim used to work for me in Melbourne in 1970.

Come fly with me

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

I was in Adelaide again in 1989, Jim took me for a spin to Victor Harbour and I actually took the controls for a while.

Talking about Melbourne

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

This is Dion Ormond who was a successful car dealer living at Box Hill.

This id Dion’s back yard.

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

How many people do you now with a DC3 in their backyard? 🙂

Allison Schroeder

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

I clearly remember flying to Brisbane from Adelaide after the Formula one and being met at the airport by this beautiful 18 year old princess. We checked in to a hotel for 2 nights, ordered room service the first night then saw Billy Joel perform at Brisbane entertainment centre  the following night November 17.

In case you are wondering how a 44 year old guy could wind up with such a young babe, quite simple really, I promised her the world and bought her an atlas. 🙂

Relaxing on the broadwater

Relocate Sydney Gold Coast

The decision to Relocate Sydney Gold Coast was indeed a major event in my life, I would spend the next 25 years there before selling all my possessions and moving to Thailand in October 2011.
