Gallagher’s Steakhouse NYC 2019 is still serving fabulous food, I was there in 2008 & my good friend Hamish Elton paid them a visit on my recommendation in January 2019. He was accompanied by Rob & Sarah Dew & the bill came to $330 for a 2 course dinner plus a bottle of wine.

A huge collection of aged beef

Located at the entrance just to get you in the right frame of mind as you enter this iconic New York restaurant. Located just steps from the dazzling lights of Broadway and the pulsing energy of Times Square, Gallagher’s Steakhouse takes its rightful place at the very heart of New York City.

For over 90 years, this is where the city’s sports teams have announced their wins, where celebrities take their bows, and where Wall Street titans toast their deals.

Lets start with some oysters

Hamish thought they were so good he actually ordered another serving. 🙂

Delicious Manhattan clam chowder

I’m totally envious, I wish I could have been there.

Hamish has visited great restaurants all over the world, & in his opinion & mine also, Gallagher’s Steakhouse NYC is certainly the best restaurant for a terrific steak.
