46th level Sky Walk Condominium

Cielo Sky Bar Restaurant Bangkok Cielo Sky Bar Restaurant Bangkok is another spectacular venue to add to the many other “must do” places to visit in this great city. Located between Sukhumvit 69 & 71 only
five minutes walk from Phra Khanong BTS station.

As usual with Bangkok Sky Bars it’s always best to arrive before sunset to get the benefit of seeing the city in day light, dusk & night.

Who is this guy?

Cielo Sky Bar Restaurant Bangkok

He greets you as you arrive at Sky Walk condominium, he could almost be saying “take me to your leader”. 🙂

Here we are at the bar

Cielo Sky Bar Restaurant Bangkok If you fancy a cocktail Pina Colada, Mojito or Mai Tais are around 200-250 Baht.

OK, back to the wonderful view

Cielo Sky Bar Restaurant Bangkok The late afternoon traffic is starting to build up.

Open from 6 pm to 1.30 am.

Cielo Sky Bar Restaurant Bangkok Compared to many of the other Bangkok Sky bars drink and food prices are quiet reasonable starting at B120 for a Singha beer.

The city lights are coming on

Cielo Sky Bar Restaurant Bangkok In my opinion enjoying a cold beer or a Margarita & watching the city lights come on in Bangkok is the perfect way to spend an evening.

Pra Khanong district

Cielo Sky Bar Restaurant Bangkok Pra Khanong district is a middle class residential area rather than a commercial district.

Only 12 minutes by Sky Train from Nana.

Cielo Sky Bar Restaurant Bangkok I usually stay in Soi 11 Nana and it only takes 12 minutes by Sky Train to get to Pra Khanong station. Then take exit 3 and walk 5 minutes along Sukhumvit to the Sky Walk Condo.

As you can see the restaurant is stunning

Cielo Sky Bar Restaurant Bangkok A small beautifully designed intimate room with chandeliers to add to the opulence.

Well worth a visit

Cielo Sky Bar Restaurant Bangkok On this occasion I dined elsewhere however I certainly will return to Cielo try out the intimate restaurant.

Casa Teo

Cielo Sky Bar Restaurant Bangkok This restaurant looks very interesting indeed, it’s located at the front of the Sky Walk condo. Check them out on Facebook.

Lovely colourful fountain.

Cielo Sky Bar Restaurant Bangkok Also located in the forecourt of the Sky Walk condo, thanks for visiting my Cielo Sky Bar Restaurant Bangkok photo blog.

When I’m in Bangkok I like to stay in Sukhumvit Soi 11, here is an excellent budget hotel, if you USE THIS LINK you will get a great rate of around B1100 per night, or $30 USD.

My history, particularly over the last 30 years is dominated by overseas travel. I sold my home in Australia October 20th 2011 and have have been living in Thailand since then. I don’t know where the time has gone? It seems like you go to sleep one night, wake up the next morning, and 20 years have flashed by. Not sure how many years I have left, however I have enjoyed a wonderful charmed life, and if it all ended today I would leave this world with no regrets. I was born in Sydney halfway through the last century, started my travels in the 60s with the usual U.K. Europe adventure at the age of 20, back to Australia and worked in Sydney, Melbourne & Adelaide in Sales & Marketing with multinational companies including Sanyo, Canon & Remington. Engaged to be married 3 times and never quite made it to the alter, finally realized by the mid 90s I was not cut out for "long term relationships" so I moved to the Gold Coast in Queensland in January 1987, worked for a couple of banks as a Financial Planner, I took a year off work in 1998 to travel and never went back to full time work again, after 25 fun filled years on the Coast I packed up and moved to Thailand. What is the purpose of this blog? Well I really want to use it to record my travel experiences & to display my photographs, give and receive travel tips, comment on places I visit, restaurants I eat in and use it to replace the autobiography I intended to write, apart from all that it helps me fill in my day. :)
